The Zambian military officers have to change their sexual behavior to prevent AIDS
The Zambian Minister of Interior Kalombo Mwansa called on army officers to change their sexual behavior in protecting themselves against HIV / AIDS, reports the Press and Information of Zambia (Zanis) Tuesday.
Mwansa said that the change in sexual behavior could help prevent new infections and to stop the stigma not only among men in uniform but also others.
The interior minister was speaking in Siavonga when he officially opened a three-day workshop on HIV / AIDS to regional commanders of the Commission on implementation of treatment (DEC) held in Lake Kariba Inns .
Mwansa has soligné that effective education on HIV / AIDS has the power to change people’s behavior.
He also stressed the need for voluntary testing and counseling. He reiterated government’s commitment to provide antiretroviral (ARV) for people infected with HIV.
