A frosty landscape in northern China
Frost in Jilin Province was formed with the fog that meets a cold snap on the Songhua river bed during the winter season. This beautiful frosted landscape is part of the four wonderful landscapes of China, involving also the landscape of Guilin, the Stone Forest in Yunnan and the Three Gorges of the Yangtze. On the island of ice, which is 40 km from the city of Jilin, the river, the willows with various forms were covered with frost. With a gust of wind, their branches silvery sparkle.
